With the Ventnor Pirate Festival on the horizon, we wanted to ensure The Spyglass Inn had something extra special to offer, not only to complement their already stellar entertainment line-up, but also to create an experience that would continue attracting families and visitors throughout the year.

To complement The Spyglass Inn’s regular schedule of live music and events, we developed an interactive, family-focused experience designed to encourage daytime visits, especially from families looking for something fun and active to do together.
Our team explored Ventnor seafront and the surrounding area to design a unique treasure map and accompanying story – The Lost Loot of Captain Codliver. The result is a free, engaging activity that invites visitors to explore, solve clues, and claim the coveted pirate prize. The experience not only drives footfall to The Spyglass but also supports the wider community and neighbouring businesses through increased local engagement.
